Great food with nice people. Try the Chicken and and Shrimp ceveche. Patacones are the best!

Been here at least 4 times and plan to return whenever in the area. Definitely recommend the Montezuma drink! Just wish that one day I'll have room for dessert.

Diquis in Palmar has been consistent over the past at least 10y. They have large space under nicely stretched tarp covering that is ideal for large groups, as well as large families with children. There are even children's tables with children-sized chairs. Lots of different areas to sit for different lighting too (especially if you want to avoid being under the bright light area, there are areas less bright).4500 CRC tax for vegetarian casado of rice, beans, raw salad, eggs, macaroni salad, mature / sweet plantains.Patacones here too!All staff were very friendly and welcoming!!

Please like and follow. We landed here without planning, and since it was outside the busy area of Palmar Norte. What got our attention immediately is the whimsical decore. Different sections, one for private seating, the other diner style, or romantic beach seating. Lots of colors reflected the culture. The service was very good. Our server was courticious, a nice smile, and very polite. She spoke little English, but that was not an issue since, between our goodwill, we were served all that we needed. The food, we shared a mixed ceviche, which they presented as two dishes. I ordered the fish with tomato sauce while my guest ordered the breaded fish. We both asked for fries and vegetables. Both proteins were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. They were delicious. The vegetables were OK, but the fries were beyond Excellent. Crunchy and tasty. The good food does not stop here.To finish our meal, we ordered the banana split. (Our server helped us pick the right desert and ice cream flavors). There is no need to mention this. it also surpassed expectations of delicious fraisa and chocolate ice cream.I highly recommend this restaurant and yes I will come back

A great family venue, with a large menu, plenty of parking, consistent and strong wifi signal - all with a great and friendly staff. Located next to the Pan American Highway (Hwy 2). It is common to see and hear large flocks of scarlet macaws in the trees across the street from DiQuis (northern trees). The fruit smoothies are great (guanabana, fresa/strawberry, mora (blackberry) and papaya are almost always available - along with several other flavors. The restaurant is always clean. They also have a large dessert menu and a full coffee options including cappuccinos, espressos, coffee, etc.
